TWO PORTRAIT COFFEE TABLE BOOKS BY SHANE SATO
THE STORY
The 100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team became the most decorated unit for its size and length of service in U.S Army history. They accomplished this while many of their friends and family were incarcerated in America’s concentration camps during WWII.
Having photographed around 200 portraits since 1999, photographer Shane Sato hired oral historian Robert Horsting to help him create the stories for the coffee table book series, The Go For Broke Spirit.
